Sunset Soap with lavender & benzoin (120g)

Have you ever gazed the stars on a warm summer night in a mediterranean country? This bar's scent reminds me of that. I blended the well-known lavender with an exciting essential oil which is benzoin.

Benzoin essential oil is a rich gum resin obtained from the bark of a group of trees called styrax that smells sweet and smooth like vanilla. It helps digestion, to reduce stress and to soothe dry and cracked skin. It has traditionally been used to protect wounds from infection. When mixed with bathing water or if applied to the body, it can kill body odor as well as the germs that cause it.
